PATRICK COUNTY OUSTED

Kristi Bennett scored a game-high 28 points to lead four teammates in double figures as Richlands defeated Patrick County 91-83 on Thursday night to advance to the Region IV final.

The Tornadoes (21-3) play the winner of the Marion-Grundy game for the title at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Crystal Armes added 20 points, Angel Toliver scored 16, Cindy Tegler 15 and Chasidy Bailey 11 for Richlands.

Alison Brammer scored 27 points to pace Patrick County, which trailed 47-46 at the half and 61-59 after three periods. Holly Webber added 18 points, including nine off 3-pointers.
