GRAYSON COUNTY FALLS IN PLAYOFFS

Chilhowie shook off a slow start Saturday and rumbled past Grayson County 34-7 in a Region C, Division I playoff game.

The Warriors (10-1) trailed 7-6 at the end of the first quarter after Chad McMillan scored on a 9-yard run for the Blue Devils (5-6). Charles Goble, who ran for 103 yards on 23 carries, then scored the first of his two touchdowns to give Chilhowie the lead for good. The Warriors outgained the Blue Devils 379 yards to 188 yards.
