A 20-year-old Elliston man died Sunday from injuries he suffered Saturday in an automobile accident.
Benjamin Joseph Sarver was headed east on West Fourth Street in Salem about 10:20 p.m. when a vehicle in the westbound lane crossed the double yellow line and hit his car. Sarver died about 5 a.m. Sunday at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
The driver of the other vehicle, a Salem man, was not seriously injured and has not been charged.
