Four teen-agers were wounded in a drive-by shooting Sunday night, and a 17-year-old victim was in critical condition at Medical College of Virginia Hospitals.
The worst-injured youth was shot in the head, said police Capt. Frank Monahan. The other three victims were listed in stable condition.
Monahan declined to release names of the youth shot in the head or a second 17-year-old because of their ages. He identified the other two victims as David Sanjurjo Jr., 19, and Andy Matthews, 18.
Monahan said the four victims lived near where the shooting took place.
Officers reported hearing at least eight shots, Monahan said.
Police had not determined a motive.
