CRASH LANDING

LENGTH: Short : 21 lines
ILLUSTRATION: PHOTO: DON PETERSEN/Staff. An unidentified man's car sailed

across Tinker Creek Friday night and landed with its rear end in the

water. The car struck a guy wire at Eastern Avenue and 13th Street

Southeast near the SPCA about 10 p.m. It then went airborne for

about 150 feet, clipping a tree before clearing the creek and

hitting the bank. A crowd of about 20 onlookers waited for about 45

minutes while rescue workers freed the man from his car and lifted

him onto a basket color. KEYWORDS: 2DA
