ETS International Inc. of Roanoke has granted a second company the right to sell its Limestone Emission Control System in Taiwan.
John Mycock, executive vice president, said the new agreement with E&C Engineering Corp. will let ETS bid on larger projects. The company is working on a bid now.
The contract calls for E&C to pay ETS an up-front license fee followed by a 5 percent royalty on the sale price of all system components. E&C is a subsidiary of CTCI Corp., Taiwan's largest engineering firm.
The ETS system mitigates acid rain by reducing sulfur oxide emissions from industrial and utility smoke stacks.
