Arnold birth

Matt and Clare Arnold proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Haley Suzanne Arnold. Haley was born at Community Hospital on October 7, 1996. She weighed 8 lbs. 81/2 ozs., and measured 21 inches. Grandparents are Phillip and Janet Arnold of Bluefield, WV. and the late Charles and Suzanne Knaus. Very special thanks to Dr. Lynn Keene, attending physician. Thanks also to Dr. Hardee and staff; and to the nurses at Community Hospital

Brammer birth

Phillip and Tracy Brammer proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Kayla Michele Brammer. Kayla was born at Lewis Gale Hospital on Octo ber 25, 1996, at 5:54 a.m. weighing 7 lbs. 71/2 ozs. and was 191/2 inches long. Kayla's proud big brothers are Eric, 9, and Travis, 6. Kayla's Papaw and Memaw are Ken and Fay Gibson, and her grandma is the late Odessa Brammer. A special thank you to Dr. Winn and the nurses on 2West for their wonderful care

Carter birth

Art and Tracy Carter are thrilled to announce that God has blessed them with a baby boy. Eric Daniel was born November 4, 1996 at 9:05 a.m. He was delivered at Roanoke Community Hospital, weighed 7 lbs. 15.6 ozs. and was 20 inches long.

Many thanks to the wonderful nurses and the tender care of Dr. Musgrave and Dr. Hancock. Thanks also to our families, Christian family and friends for all their prayers and support.

de la Rocha birth

Joseph Allen de la Rocha was born October 27, 1996 at 12:05 am at Community Hospital. He weighed 7 lbs. 91/2 inches and was 201/2 inches long. His parents are Joe & Leigh Ann de la Rocha. Johnny and Linda Thompson proudly and joyfully announce the birth of their beautiful baby daughter, Callie Amanda Thompson. Callie was born on November 4, 1996 at 8:56 a.m. in Lewis-Gale Medical Center. She weighed 8 lbs. 11 ozs., and was 21 inches long. Callie has two proud older brothers, Andrew Lane, 7, and Corey Matthew, 18 months. Her grandparents are George and Gerri Watts, and Roosevelt and Velma Thompson, all of Salem. She also has a great-grandfather, Jessie Watson of Salem. Our sincere thanks to Dr. George Maxymiv for his excellent prenatal care and Dr. Laura Moylan for delivering our little girl safely into this world. And most of all, we thank God for blessing us with this most precious gift, our daughter.

Wekenmann birth

Lauren Marie Wekenmann was born October 15, 1996, at Lewis Gale Hospital, Salem, Va., at 4:56 p.m. She weighed 6 lbs. 14 oz. and was 20 inches long. Her parents are Phil and Jackie Wekenmann. Brother Anth ony Phillip Wekenmann is 4 years old. Grandparents are Nana Sharon and Papa Phil Wekenmann, Grandma Jeanne and Grandpa Fred Ulrich. Attending physician was Dr. James Kelly
