An apparent failure of a pipe Monday caused part of the Dora Highway sewage pump station to flood and lose power in Pulaski.
The station had to be bypassed while repairs were being made, Town Manager Tom Combiths said. Customers were not affected.
The discharge had to be diverted into Peak Creek until the station was functional again. Town Engineer John Hawley said there was no industrial waste involved which might have caused pollution problems with the creek.
Repairs were still under way Monday afternoon.
