ROANOKE REGIONAL ECONOMIC INDICATORS

The number of homes sold in the Roanoke Valley rose 1.6 percent in November to 249, compared with 245 homes a year ago, the Roanoke Valley Association of Realtors said Monday. The median price of homes sold last month was $94,500. The most expensive house listed sold for $430,000 after one day on the market. The least expensive listed for $22,000 and sold for $17,000 after 20 days.

There were 2,037 homes for sale at the end of November, including 379 listed in November for the first time.
