I-81 DELAYS LIKELY TODAY DURING REPAIRS

Road repairs may delay Interstate 81 traffic near Dixie Caverns today.

Northbound traffic, at milepost 133, will be reduced to one lane beginning at 7 a.m. while a depression in the pavement is removed and resurfaced, the Virginia Department of Transportation said.

VDOT expects the work to take most of the day, but both northbound lanes should be restored by sunset.
