Radford firefighter Tommy Long was fired Nov. 26 after being charged with driving a fire truck while under the influence. Long is suspected of driving under the influence of drugs, according to the arrest report. A Thursday story about Long's firing incorrectly reported that alcohol was involved.

A story Thursday about new air pollution standards from the Environmental Protection Agency incorrectly referred to chemical air pollutants that play a role in the formation of ozone. The correct reference to the pollutants, which are common to automobiles and power plants, is nitrogen oxides.
