MARATHON MEETING AT HOLIDAY INN

The Leukemia Society of America's Virginia chapter will host an information meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Blacksburg Holiday Inn on joining a fund-raising team to participate in the 1997 Chicago or Dublin, Ireland marathons, both scheduled for October.

Teams of area runners or walkers will be under the direction of local experienced marathoners, who will help participants train. The leukemia society will the travel expenses of all participants.
