THE IMPACT IN ROANOKE

A merger of Continental and Delta should not result in any changes in commuter airline service at Roanoke Regional Airport, because the regional lines serving those two airlines don't overlap, said airport spokesman Mark Courtney.

The two Delta Connection regionals, Comair and Atlantic Southeast Airlines, fly to Cincinnati and Atlanta respectively, and the Continental Express carrier flies to Newark, N.J.
