LEAF COLLECTION CONTINUES IN CITY

City of Roanoke crews will begin collecting loose leaves in zones Northwest 1-D, Northeast 2-D, Southwest 3-B and Southeast 4-D Monday morning. Residents should have leaves raked to the curb.

Maps identifying leaf collection zones are available at all city libraries and fire stations, and in the Nov. 7 edition of Neighbors.

Bad weather may cause delays in the leaf collection schedule.

Residents who bag leaves may place them on the curb on their regular trash collection day. To help the city crews, place leaf bags apart from regular trash.
