Bernard-Sedovy
Mrs. Jean Greer of Boones Mill and Mr. Kenneth Bernard of Callaway announce the engagement of their daughter, Rhonda Lynnette Bernard, to Dr. John David Sedovy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sedovy of White Hall, Pa.
Rhonda, a graduate of Radford University, is a Registered Nurse in the Neuro-Trauma Intensive Care Unit at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
John, a graduate of the Temple University School of Medicine, is completing his residency in general surgery with the Carilion Health Care System.
A March 1997 wedding is planned.
Dent-Burger
Dr. and Mrs. Gary L. Dent of Roanoke, VA, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Leigh, to Michael D. Burger of Herndon, VA, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. Douglas Burger, also of Herndon. An early summer wedding is planned.
Richardson-Bell

The bride-to-be is a daughter of Tressie Cote and Calvin Richardson of Christiansburg, and the stepdaughter of Virginia Richardson of Christiansburg and Robert Metzler of Blacksburg. She graduated from Christiansburg High School and attends New River Community College pursuing a degree in Administrative Support Technology. She is a secretary at Gay Engineering.
The future groom is a son of George Bell and the late Helen Bell of Christiansburg. He graduated from Christiansburg High School, and is the owner of Bell's Auto and Towing.
Stanley-Harless
Mr. and Mrs. Jesse R. Stanley of Blue Ridge and Mr. and Mrs. Carl J. Harless of Vinton are pleased to announce the engagement of their children Shannon Sherri' Stanley and Donald Warren Harless. They are planning a June wedding.
White-Robinette
Mr. and Mrs. Dennis White are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Melinda White, of Christiansburg, to Harvey G. ``Sonny'' Robinette, of Floyd.
Jennifer is a 1994 graduate of Dayspring Christian Academy and is currently employed by First National Bank of Christiansburg.
Sonny is a 1983 graduate of Floyd County High School and is currently employed by Virginia Tech and Blue Ridge Beverage of Salem. He is the son of Delores Robinette and the late Estill Robinette of Floyd.
Jennifer and Sonny are both members of Dayspring Christian Church.
The wedding is being planned for the summer of 1997.
Wolfe-Echols
Sarah Elizabeth Wolfe and James Lawrence Echols, Jr. are engaged and planning to be married on May 3, 1997 in Salem, Virginia.
Sarah is the daughter of Mrs. William Lee Wolfe of Salem and the late Mr. Wolfe. She graduated from Salem High School and Concord College. She is employed by Columbia Lewis-Gale Medical Center.
Jim is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Lawrence Echols of Vinton, Virginia. He graduated from William Byrd High School and Virginia Tech. He is employed by Atlantic Mutual Companies.
