BLACKSBURG - The winners in Blacksburg's Christmas parade, held Saturday, were:

Pulaski parade postponed
PULASKI - Pulaski's Christmas Parade has been postponed until Thursday at 7 p.m.
The parade was originally scheduled for Dec. 5, but was postponed because of snow.
The parade will begin on First Street and proceed down Main Street.

Calling changes begin in April
CHRISTIANSBURG - Christiansburg residents will be able to make local calls to Roanoke and Salem beginning in April, but will have to pay an extra $2.79 a month for the extended local service plan.
Residents in Roanoke will pay 20 cents more for toll-free calling to Christiansburg. Salem residents will pay 33 cents.
The State Corporation Commission approved the change earlier this year.
