          Monday at the Rubatex Corp. in Bedford after a small explosion 
          occurred in a rubber-curing oven. Bedford Fire Chief Donald Hale 
          said no one was injured in the blast and ensuing fire, which spread 
          to three other ovens and went up an exhaust pipe to the roof. Hale 
          said firefighters needed about half an hour to contain the fire at 
          Waltex, a division of Rubatex. It was the second fire at the plant 
          this year. color.
