Unabomber suspect Theodore Kaczynski pleaded innocent Tuesday via video from California to charges that he mailed a package bomb that killed an advertising executive in New Jersey.
Kaczynski, held without bail in Sacramento, appeared on video screens in a slightly jerky live transmission to a federal courtroom here. He said only three sentences, confirming that he could hear the proceedings.
Kaczynski, 54, already pleaded innocent to Unabomber attacks that killed two people in Sacramento, where he has been jailed since his arrest April 3 at his remote cabin in Lincoln, Mont.
Thomas Mosser, 50, was killed when he opened a package bomb at his New Jersey home on Dec. 10, 1994.
