STAR VALLEY GOOD SAMERS CONTINUE THEIR GOOD DEEDS

Donating to the Good Neighbors Fund is only one of many good deeds performed by the Star Valley Good Samers club.

Throughout the year, these 34 people give to their community in a variety of ways, including: making donations to the Dogs for the Deaf program, furnishing Christmas dinner for a Roanoke family that would otherwise go without, and working with SHARE to help provide food each month for a struggling local family.

The Star Valley Good Samers is the Roanoke chapter of the Good Sam Club, an international community service organization made up of more than 4,000 recreational vehicle and camper owners. Trilby Powell, a local member, says the state Good Sam Club sends representatives to RV shows to attract new members and form local chapters.

The Star Valley Good Samers have been helping Roanokers in need for about 20 years.
