Mike White scored 27 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out three assists as Covington Boys' Home downed Craig County 65-48 in a non-district boys' game Thursday night in New Castle.
The Indians (4-2) took an 18-7 first-quarter lead and rolled to victory.
Mike Fisher scored 13 points for Craig County (0-2) and Dewayne Crawford added 12.
Girls
Roanoke Valley Christian 68, Timberlake Christian 11: Rebecca Bryant scored 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, and Gina Guthrie added 19 points as the host Eagles downed Timberlake Christian in the Blue Ridge Conference.
RVC (4-1 overall, 1-1 conference) led 24-4 after one quarter and rolled to the victory.
Debbie Phillips scored 10 points for Timberlake Christian (1-1, 1-1).
Stuart Hall 30, Roanoke Catholic 24: Callie Spencer and Alicia Harmon each scored nine points as Stuart Hall rolled past the Celtics in a Blue Ridge Conference game at Roanoke Catholic.
Stuart Hall (2-2, 1-1) outrebounded Roanoke Catholic 41-25 and grabbed 20 offensive boards.
Christy Hinman led Roanoke Catholic (1-6, 0-2) with 13 points and seven rebounds.
