Ronald Branch scored seven of his 14 points in the pivotal second quarter as the Cougars pulled out a 48-47 non-district victory over the Indians in Blacksburg on Saturday.

Blacksburg outscored Pulaski County 17-4 in the first quarter byt Pulaski controlled 25-8 in the second for a 29-25 halftime lead. Dorial Hendricks led the Cougars (4-0) with 15 points.
