CROY, Georgia M., 91, of McCoy, died Monday, December 16, 1996, at Heritage Hall Health Care Center. Mrs. Croy was born in McCoy on June 25, 1905, to the late William Isaac and Malissa Albert McCoy, and was the last survivor in a family of twelve children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jennings Croy; a son, Dean Croy; and a granddaughter, Becky Croy. Mrs. Croy was a lifetime member of the Centennial Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in McCoy. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Nedra Croy, W. D. ``Tiny'' and Wanda Croy, and David Croy, all of Blacksburg; a daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Tom Gearheart, McCoy; a daughter-in-law, Sue L. Croy, Atlanta, Ga.; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. DOOLEY, Buster Bill, (``Bob''), 84, of Vinton, went to be with the Lord on Sunday evening, December 15, 1996. He was the widower of Ethel St. Clair Dooley, a member of Mountain View Baptist Church, and retired from Norfolk & Western Railway. Surviving are twin sisters and one brother-in-law, Mrs. Eunice Giles, Montvale, Mrs. Cora and Bill Bell, Bedford; a special niece, Mrs. Kathy Wheeler, Vinton; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. FOSTER, Harry David, 49, of Roanoke, passed away Sunday, December 15, 1996. He was an employee of Norfolk and Southern Railway and a member of Cave Spring United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Woodrow Foster. Surviving are his wife, Bonnie Foster; two sons, Adam and Jeremy Foster; mother, Blanche Mills Foster; brother and sis ter-in-law, Phil and Charlotte Foster, all of Roanoke; also surviving are a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. FOWLER, Fred Graham Jr., 47, of Route 3, Max Meadows, died Sunday, December 15, 1996, in the Wythe County Community Hospital. He was the Service Right-of-Way Agent for American Electric Power Company, was a member of the Wytheville Masonic Lodge #82 A.F. & A.M., was the Vice Chairman of the Republican Party of Wythe County, was on the Board of Directors of Short Horn Association of Virginia, was a member of the Max Meadows Ruritan Club, Chairman of the Wythe County Planning Commission from 1990 to 1995, and Vice Chairman from 1986 to 1989. He is survived by his wife, Carol Dunford Fowler of Max Meadows; two sons, Fred G. Fowler III of Max Meadows, Robert Edward Fowler of Max Meadows; one sister, Debra R. Reeves of Wytheville; stepfather and wife, Donald and Bonnie Rosenbaum of Wytheville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Guy and June Dunford of Max Meadows; brother-in-law, G. C. Dunford of Wytheville. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Grubb Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Richard G. Lindamood, with the interment in the family cemetery, Gunton Park. GARNER, David Vincent, 63, of Madison Heights, died Monday, December 16, 1996 at Virginia Baptist Hospital. He was the husband of Betty Jean Kingery Garner of Madison Heights. Born in Roanoke County, he was the son of the late Benjamin Franklin Garner and Pearl Pickett Garner. He was preceded in death by one brother, Edwin Garner. Mr. Garner was a member of Randolph Memorial Baptist Church and a retired employee of Dawson Aluminum. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Vincent W. Garner and his wife, Michaelene of Lynchburg; one daughter, Debra G. Campbell and her husband, Ronnie of Beckley, W. Va.; four brothers, Ridley Garner of Rocky Mount, Reginald Garner of Roanoke, Forrest Garner of Sanford, N.C. and Beverly Garner of Collinsville; three sisters, Geraldine Piacenti of Boca Raton, Fla., Shirley Fulp of Roanoke and Joyce Guthrie of Michigan; and four grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday from Whitten Monelison Chapel by the Rev. Grant Carter. HUNDLEY, Joseph Wayne Sr., 72, of 1707 Mulberry Rd., Martinsville, died Sunday, December 15, 1996, at a private nursing facility in Collinsville. He was born in the Snow Creek section of Franklin County on August 20, 1924, son of the late George Francis Hundley and Sallie Bousman Hundley. He was a retired employee of Prillaman Chemical Co. Mr. Hundley was a graduate of Martinsville High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He was a charter member of the Martinsville Touchdown Club. He excelled in sports, going on to play semi-professional and professional baseball. He was a scout for the Cleveland Indians. He helped organize Little League and Pony Leagues and coached for many years. He encouraged young athletes to pursue higher education. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Martinsville. He was predeceased by a sister, Hazel Gregory; and brothers, Jake, George and Cecil Hundley. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Prillaman Hundley of the home; daughters, Sally Butt of Athens, Ga., Margaret Dickerson of Richmond; sons, Joseph Wayne Hundley Jr. of Martinsville, David Michael Hundley of Ridgeway, Robert Hundley of Oak Ridge, N.C.; sisters, Frances Ferguson of Collinsville, Margaret Donley of Bassett, Nellie Minter of Dyer Store Community, Erma Johnson of Waynesboro; brothers, Virgil Hundley of Figsboro, Claude Hundley of Collinsville, Walter Hundley of Lutkin, Texas. JOHNSTON, Lottie Caldwell, 85, of Salem, went to be with her Lord, Monday, December 16,1996. She was born in Craig County, Va. and was a resident of Salem for a number of years. Surviving are her husband of 57 years, William C. Johnston of Salem; sisters, Cambia Huffman of Pembroke, Eileen Curry of Staunton; one dear daughter, Emma Caldwell Long of Salem; one special grandson and wife, Brian Clark and Carol Ann Caldwell of Salem; special niece and husband, Bertie Ann and Bill Henderson of Roanoke; and several other nieces and nephews.
