Five bankruptcies with business affiliations have been filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for Western Virginia at Roanoke. Three of them are personal bankruptcies that the court listed as businesses because they have commercial connections and could be of interest to business creditors and customers.
*Center Properties I, a commercial office and warehouse on Plantation Road in Roanoke, filed for reorganization and protection from creditors. K. Bruce Hobart, the general partner, estimated both assets and liabilities at more than $1 million.
*Grady Lawrence Hill and Leona Dale Hill of Roanoke filed for liquidation with assets of $57,624 and liabilities of $56,688. Grady Hill does business as P&G Custom Carpentry.
*Warren C. Howell of Roanoke filed for liquidation with assets of $18,728 and liabilities of $83,322. He does business as Design Solutions, an electrical contractor.
*David R. Roederer of Radford, who does business as Performance Auto Care Inc., filed for liquidation. He listed assets of $116,266 and liabilities of $133,231.
*Roger W. Huff Jr. and Patricia A. Huff of Pulaski filed for liquidation with assets of $38,625 and liabilities of $40,825. Roger Huff is self-employed in the construction business.
