Kim Morris scored 15 points and dished eight assists to lead Cave Spring past Huntington East, the No. 1-ranked team in West Virginia, 67-61 Saturday at Cave Spring.
The Knights (4-0) had three players, including two starters, out with the flu but were able to come up with the victory. Lindsay Cannon was six for seven from the field for 15 points.
Laura Meadows, listed as the No. 14 player in the nation by USA Today, led Huntington East (1-1) with 37 points.
