CELEBRATIONS - WEDDINGS

Corkale-Stull

Kathryn Mills Corkale and Robert Eupns Stull were married November 24, 1996 in Green Ridge Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Harry Chnsotso and the Rev. Robert McRae officiating. The reception was held in the fellowship hall.

The guestbook attendant was Bev Gray.

The bride is the daughter of Curtis and Margaret Mills of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Northside High school, and is employed by Carilion Roanoke Community Hospital Surgical Services.

The groom is the son of Joyce Stull and the late Pete Stull of Eagle Rock. He is a graduate of James River High Schjool, Buchanan, and is employed by Blue Ridge Farm Center.

Graybill-Razi

Mark Steven Graybill and Farea Razi were joined in marriage in a ceremony held at Preston College, University of South Carolina, in Columbia, South Carolina, on Saturday, December 14, 1996. Mark is the son of J.C. and Hilda Graybill of Roanoke and is a graduate of Roanoke College. He is presently completing his PhD in English at the University of S.C. Farea is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raziuddin Ahmed of Karachi, Pakistan. She is continuing her studies in the field of education at the University of S.C. The bride and groom were attended by Becky and Kevin Lewis of Columbia, S.C. Friends and family joined the couple for a small reception at the Lewis Home following the ceremony.

Grossman-Elton

Catherine Burns Elton and Dale Victor Grossman were united in marriage at 3 p.m. on September 29, 1996 at the Arts Club in Washington, D.C. The Rev. Richard Stetler and Rabbi Arthur Blecher co-officiated the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles S. Elton of Abingdon. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Grossman of Montebello, Calif.

The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her parents. Immediately following the ceremony, a reception/ dinner was held at the Arts Club.

Wedding music was provided by Dave and Schery Collins, assisted by the Strolling Strings Ensemble. Soloists were Jorinda Kiser and Erica Newman.

Maid of honor was Rebecca Furnia of Bethesda, Md. Jodi Moskowitz of West New York, N.J. served as matron of honor. Bridal attendants were Kristin Ramkey of Charlotte, N.C. and Allison Egger of Durham, N .C.

The groom's brother, Neal Grossman of Pasadena, Calif. served as best man. Groomsmen were Pat Lim of Montebello, George Barlow of Reston, Va. and Ken Kaufman of Gaithersburg, Md.

The bride holds a bachelor of arts degree and a master's degree from the University of South Carolina. The groom is a graduate of California State Polytechnic University. He is employed by Computer Sciences Corporation in Falls Church, Va.

After a wedding trip to Barbados, West Indies, the couple resides in Laurel, Md.

Leonard-Davis

Sara and Ruth Davis, daughters of Natalie Wood Davis, are pleased to announce the marriage of their mother to David Jonathan Leonard on November 19, 1996 at Beaverdam Baptist Church. Rev. Dennis Moore officiated. The reception followed immediately at Kabuki.

Brenda Wilkerson, of Lynchburg, was matron of honor; Sara and Ruth Davis, daughters of the bride, were junior bridesmaids. Ted Leonard, brother of the groom of Fairmont, N.C, was best man.

The bride is the widow of Rev. Gary W. Davis and daughter of Robert and Shirley Wood, Lynchburg. The groom is the son of Rev. Billy and Mrs. Betty Leonard, Blue Ridge.

The bride is employed by Blue Ridge Community Services as a RN case manager. The groom is employed by Litten-Fibercom.

The couple honeymooned in St. Pete, Fla. and reside in Roanoke.

We thank all our family and friends for all their support and prayers as we begin our life together as a family.

Leslie-Kirmse

Victoria Louise Kirmse and Gregory Eugene Leslie were married on December 21, 1996 in Thrasher Memorial United Methodist Church. George Wesley Jones, Associate Pastor, was the officiating clergyman. The reception was held at the Church.

Sherry Lee Chapman Cire, friend, was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Lella Ruth Baker, friend; Christina Adrienne Kirmse and Alexandra Elizabeth Kirmse, sisters.

Russell Eugene Early, friend, was the best man. The ushers were Jerry Wayne Dunahoo, Shawn David Jennings and David Allen Frye, friends. The guestbook was attended by Marlo Webb Dunahoo.

The bride is a daughter of the late E. James Kirmse and Laura L. Kirmse, Montvale, Va. She is a graduate of Liberty High School, Bedford, and Hollins College, Roanoke. She is employed by R & K Engineering.

The bridegroom is a son of Charles E. Leslie of Vinton, and the late Elaine W. Leslie. He is a graduate of William Byrd High School, Vinton, and is employed by Chalaine, Inc. in Vinton.

The newlyweds will live in Vinton.

Stull-Corkill
