JMU'S EIGEL CAA RUNNER OF THE YEAR

James Madison runner Bethany Eigel, a sophomore from Christiansburg, was named co-runner of the year by the Colonial Athletic Association on Monday.

Eigel, who attended Christiansburg High School, finished third at the conference meet, 16th in the ECAC meet, eighth in the NCAA District II event and 46th in the national meet.

Eigel also earned All-East and All-NCAA District II honors.
