ACCIDENT KILLS CARROLL MAN

A Carroll County man was killed in a single-car accident early Saturday.

State police said 25-year-old Byron Keith Roberts died about 12:08 a.m. when the pickup he was driving ran off Virginia 97 south of Galax, struck a tree and overturned several timesd.
