Hospital officials don't know the identity of a tattooed man who has been in a coma since he was struck by a car on Interstate 95 on Dec. 1.
The only clues they have are the tattoos that cover the man from shoulders to wrists.
``I have had a few phone calls that are possible leads,'' said Lynne Major, a hospital social worker at the Center City division of Allegheny University Hospital.
Despite numerous articles, sketches and news reports, no one has successfully identified the man, who carried no identification.
Here's what officials do know:
On Dec. 1 the man, who seems to be in his mid- to late 30s or early 40s, was walking in the northbound lanes of I-95 about 1:30 p.m. when he was struck by a car.
When he was hospitalized with broken legs and head injuries, he was wearing a black Harley Davidson hat, a black sweat shirt with a Harley logo, jeans and cowboy boots. Among the tattoos on his arms are a Chinese dragon, a bearded Viking skull, a female vampire, a grinning skull with a Mohawk haircut, a pig with sunglasses, and a vulture. - Associated Press
