A Virginia Tech football assistant coach was identified incorrectly in a caption in Wednesday's editions. The assistant coach with an arm around quarterback Jim Druckenmiller was Rickey Bustle, the Hokies' offensive coordinator.

A story Wednesday incorrectly reported that Vinton does not have a Christmas tree recycling program. The town's public works department will begin picking up trees Monday. Residents are asked to put trees in their normal trash pickup location.

Mulch from the trees will be available at the public works building on Third Street.
