LIONS CLUB TO BE STARTED IN SHAWSVILLE

An organizational meeting for the Shawsville Lions Club will be held Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Hale's Restaurant, U.S. 11 and U.S. 460.

All interested persons are invited to attend and learn what will be necessary to start a club in the Shawsville area. Lions clubs focus primarily on sight conservation, but also contribute to other areas of the community through hearing conservation, leadership development and drug awareness programs.

Shawsville's club will be sponsored by the Christiansburg Lions Club.
