Investigation continues in death of Tech student

The young woman who was walking with a Virginia Tech student when he was hit and killed Saturday night near Lane Stadium gave police a statement about the accident Monday morning.

Tech police said they are still investigating the accident in which a Blacksburg woman was arrested on a charge of drunken driving. For details, see today's story in the Virginia section.
