Charts giving information about office and retail occupancy rates in the Roanoke Valley, which appeared in Sunday's Business section, were erroneously attributed. The information was compiled by Hall Associates Inc. of Roanoke. Also, three buildings were incorrectly listed. The figures given for the Valley Bank building were for Southwest Virginia Bank building; the figures for the former Woods, Rogers & Hazlegrove building were for Valley Bank; and the figures for Southwest Virginia were for the Woods, Rogers & Hazlegrove building.
In addition, the owner of the Shenandoah Building said the proper figures for 1996 are only 3,162 square feet vacant for an occupancy rate of 94 percent.
Clarification
For fourth quarter 1996, ended Dec. 1, Rowe Furniture Corp. reported primary per-share earnings of 23 cents, compared with 11 cents per share in 1995. For the full fiscal year ended Dec. 1, the company reported primary per-share earnings of 53 cents, unchanged from 1995. An earnings report in Saturday's business section reported the company's fully diluted per-share earnings.

A Jan. 7 story reported that Roanoke police had been called to Edwin L. Plunkett's home 40 times on complaints of domestic abuse and drunken behavior over the years. While responding to a similar call in May, police shot and killed Plunkett, who was holding a gun at the time. His family filed a lawsuit against the police and the city last week.
According to Thomas Dene, an attorney for Plunkett's family, some of those complaints may have been made against Plunkett's late father, also named Edwin Plunkett, and others who lived at the same address.
The information about the calls came from Roanoke Commonwealth's Attorney Donald Caldwell. Because a lawsuit is pending, Caldwell and the Police Department declined to review the 40 complaints to determine whom they were lodged against.
