CLEMSON WANTS TECH'S BUSTLE

Reports out of South Carolina on Wednesday night indicated Clemson had offered its vacant offensive coordinator's position to Virginia Tech football assistant coach Rickey Bustle.

Bustle, a Clemson graduate, was on the road recruiting Wednesday night and could not be reached for comment. Bustle, whose Tech offenses have averaged 32 points a game in his three seasons as offensive coordinator, reportedly interviewed for the Clemson position Wednesday.

A Tech official confirmed Wednesday afternoon that Clemson had asked Hokies head coach Frank Beamer for permission to talk to Bustle.
