Two environmental groups will sponsor a program Monday in Blacksburg on "The Radford Army Ammunition Plant: Environmental Issues and Plans for the Future."
The speakers will include Pat Therrien, who has been working on the plan for the arsenal's redevelopment, and Chris Swan, an environmental engineer. The meeting is sponsored by the New River Valley Environmental Coalition and the New River chapter of the Sierra Club. It will take place at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Museum of Natural History, 428 N.
