TURNER'S FTS LIFT NARROWS TO VICTORY

David Turner made two free throws with 21 seconds left Monday as Narrows edged Rocky Gap 76-74 for a Mountain Empire District win in Narrows.

Joe Shipbaugh scored 26 points, 19 in the second half, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out seven assists and Jason Mullins scored 19 of his 21 points in the first half for the Green Wave (5-4, 1-2).

Adam Akers paced Rocky Gap with 24 points and Brian Payne added 10.

Rainelle (W.Va.) 99, Gateway Christian 64: Chris Kirtner paced three Crusaders in double figures with 22 points in a losing cause against homestanding Rainelle.

Alan Surface added 16 points and Scott Perfater 14 for Gateway Christian (6-6).
