A photo cutline in Wednesday's Virginia section incorrectly described
a two-car accident in Montgomery County. Both vehicles were headed north
on Prices Fork Road. Mark Rorrer of Montgomery County was turning right
into his driveway when his vehicle was hit on the passenger side by a
truck driven by Curtis Bowers of Radford.

RESCUE BY ROAD, BY AIR

LENGTH: Short : 28 lines
ILLUSTRATION: PHOTO: ALAN KIM/Staff. A two-car accident about 3 p.m. on

Prices Fork Road left four people injured and closed both lanes for

about 45 minutes Tuesday. Two people involved in the accident were

flown to Roanoke by LifeGuard 10. Ambulances took two others to

Montgomery Regional Hospital. Mark Rorrer of Montgomery County

apparently made a left turn across oncoming traffic into his

driveway and was struck by a truck traveling in the opposite

direction on Prices Fork. Virginia State Trooper Frank Lotts said

the truck left no skid marks, which may point to brake failure.
