Louis Booker of Patrick Henry recorded the fastest times in the nation this season Saturday in the 300-meter and 500-meter dashes, winning the two events at the Virginia Tech-High School Indoor Track Invitational in Blacksburg.
Booker crossed the finish line in 35.17 seconds in the 300-meter race and in 1:05.22 in the 500 meters. He also had leaps totaling 42 feet, 6 inches in the triple jump, good enough for second place.
