BLACKSBURG STORE ROBBED AT GUNPOINT

Three young adult males were involved in the armed robbery of a North Main Street convenience store Monday.

Police said two of the robbers entered the A&J Quick Shop at 7:36 p.m. wearing ski masks while the other youth stood outside as a lookout.

Once inside, one of the masked youths pointed a handgun at the clerk and ordered her to a back room in the store. An undisclosed amount of money was taken and all three fled on foot. The clerk was uninjured.

The masked suspects are described as white males between 5-foot-2 and 5-foot-5 inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds.
