MAN REPORTS BEING ROBBED IN S.W. CITY

Two women reportedly robbed a 54-year-old man in Southwest Roanoke early Wednesday.

Police said Harry Hale Jr. was in the 600 block of Brandon Avenue about 7 a.m. when two women pulled up in a white, four-door car..

The women got out of the car and walked up to Hale. One of the robbers told Hale to do as she said and he would not get hurt, police said. A weapon was not displayed. The woman then took Hale's wallet, which contained more than $500. The robbers fled in their car.
