Radford residents may obtain applications for New River Valley Habitat for Humanity home ownership by contacting the New River Valley Habitat office at 381-4215, or by picking them up at the Radford Health Department or the city Department of Social Services. The following Radford-area churches can also supply the applications: Central United Methodist, First Baptist, First Christian, Grace Episcopal, Grove United Methodist, St. Jude's Catholic and the Presbyterian Church of Radford. The application deadline is 5 p.m. Feb. 18.

Jo Brown is the associate director of the Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library and is now serving as the acting director. Also, the next Library Board meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 19 at the Christiansburg headquarters library. Brown's title and the meeting date were incorrectly reported in Tuesday's New River Current.
