DUBLIN MAN DIES IN WRECK

A 29-year-old Dublin man was killed early Friday when his pickup truck struck a bridge abutment near the intersection of Virginia 600 and 606 near Parrott and overturned into a creek.

State police identified the driver as Brian Kevin Harrell. He was driving a 1994 Ford Ranger south on Virginia 600 when the accident happened about 7:20 a.m.

Harrell died at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt. Trooper M.K. Blevins investigated the accident.
