Collins-Rainey

Donald and Rita Rainey of Roanoke, VA proudly announce the engagement of their son, Matthew Scott Rainey to Kathleen Ann Collins.

Kathleen is the daughter of Margaret T. Collins of North Brunswick, NJ and James C. Collins, Jr. of Freehold, NJ.

Scott is a graduate of Radford University with a BS in Economics and is employed as a claim supervisor with Travelers Aetna Property Casualty Company in Fairfax, VA.

Kathleen is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ with a BS in Marketing and is employed as an account executive with Emirates Airlines which is based in the United Arab Emirates.

The wedding will take place this fall in Northern Virginia. The couple will reside in Centreville, VA.

Enochs-Collins

Michele Lee Enochs and David Lee Collins are engaged and planning to be married on January 3, 1998, in Roanoke. Michele is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy E. Enochs of Roanoke. She graduated from Northside High School. David is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George L. Collins of Vinton. He graduated from William Byrd High School.

Harrison-Atwell

Shannon Renee Harrison and Daniel Edward Atwell are engaged and planning to be married on September 20, 1997 in Salem. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald O. Harrison o f Salem. She graduated from Salem High School and Bridgewater College. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Atwell of Manassas. He graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School and Bridgewater College

Jancso-Mann

Kathryn E. Jancso and Robert W. Mann are engaged and are to be married on April 26, 1997 in Raleigh, N.C. She is the daughter of Donna and Lee Spitler of Boones Mill, Va. and Ron and Catherine Jancso of Nashville, N.C. She is a graduate of Blacksburg High School and North Carolina State University, and is employed by Blockbuster Entertainment. He is the son of Mary and Glenn Jones of Covington, Va. and Bill and Shirley Mann of Richmond, Va. He is a graduate of Alleghany High School and Elon College, and is employed by Blockbuster Entertainment.

Miller-DePlato

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Barnes Miller, Jr. of Monroe, Wisconsin, announce the engagement of their daughter, Temple Alexandra, to Mr. David Anthony DePlato, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard John DePlato, of Richmond, Virginia.

Miss Miller is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and is employed by the YMCA of Beaufort, South Carolina. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Charles Lee Denson of Roanoke, Virginia and the late Mr. Denson, and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrences Barnes Miller of Anderson, South Carolina.

Mr. DePlato is also a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and is employed by RGC Mineral Sands, Inc. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Victor John DePlato and the late Ms. Victoria Helen Perec, of Buffalo, New York.

A February wedding is planned.

Moody-Welch

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Linkous of Rocky Mount and Mr. and Mrs. James Welch Sr. of Buchanan would like to announce the engagemen t of their children, Elizabeth Brooke Moody and James Allen Welch Jr.

Brooke was a 1994 graduate of Cave Spring High School, attended VWCC and is employed by Virginia First Savings Bank in Roanoke.

James was a 1989 graduate of James River High School and is employed by Bell Vac Machinery in Lynchburg.

They are planning a spring wedding

Waldron-Tribble

Mr. and Mrs. Randy A. Waldron are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Dawn Waldron, to David A. Tribble, son of Rebeca Q. Tribble. Stephanie is a graduate of William Byrd High School and is currently attending Roanoke College. She is employed by the law firm of Cawthorn and Picard. David is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School and is employed by Double Envelope. A July wedding is planned.
