A pizza deliverer was robbed at gunpoint Saturday as he brought a pizza to a house in Northeast Roanoke.
Police said Daryl Griggs drove up to 1717 Read Mountain Road about 8:15 p.m. A male wearing a blue bandana around his face and holding a handgun opened the door. The male pointed the gun at Griggs and told him to step inside the house. Griggs refused and pushed the gun away. A second male then walked around the corner of the house and pointed a rifle at Griggs.
Police said Griggs gave the robbers $50, left the pizzas and fled.
