More than 80 vehicles will be displayed at the 17th annual Muscular Dystrophy Association Car Show this weekend at the Roanoke Civic Center.
The show features a wide variety of vehicles, including custom cars, street rods, race cars, antiques and classics and many more. The show will be open 5-10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5 for adults, $2.50 for children ages 6-12 and free for children under 6.

* Len Dawson, former Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and host of HBO's ``Inside the NFL,'' will be the guest speaker at the Blue Ridge Mountains Council, Boy Scouts of America's annual Friends of Scouting fund-raising kickoff Saturday at the Hotel Roanoke.
