MARTINSVILLE TEST DATE CANCELED

One of two scheduled test dates for NASCAR Late Model cars at Martinsville Speedway has been canceled due to construction projects. The testing scheduled will not be held because of construction of additional pit stalls being created when the starting field increases to 42 cars for the Goody's 500 Winston Cup race on April 20.

The Late Model testing session scheduled March 5 will be held. Gates open to drivers and the public at 7 a.m., with practice from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The practice is in preparation for the Miller 300 on March 16.
