I-81 LANE CLOSED DUE TO SINKHOLE

The right lane of southbound Interstate 81 in Augusta County near the Greenville exit has been closed because of a sinkhole in the shoulder.

State transportation officials do not know when the lane will reopen because they are not sure how long repairs will take.
