Patrick Henry High School won the boys' meet and William Fleming finished third in both the boys' and girls' divisions of the Northwest Region indoor track and field meet Thursday in Lexington.
Patrick Henry's boys earned 83 points, far outdistancing second-place Potomac, which had 56. (Results in Scoreboard. B3)
Louis Booker won three individual events for the Patriots: the triple jump, 300-meter dash and 500-meter dash. Booker also joined teammates James Hickenbotham, Chad Giles and Shaun Akers in winning the 4x200 meter relay in 1:32.90.
William Fleming's 4x400 relay team of Charles Corner, Darryl McCoy, Brent Elliott and Lee Suggs streaked to first place in that event with a time of 3:35.75.
The Colonels' other first-place finisher came in the girls' field events. Courtney Washington won the shot put with a distance of 34 feet, 11 inches.
