Park reservation dates posted
RADFORD - Radford residents may register for reservations for shelters No. 1 and No. 2 at Bisset Park at the Radford Parks and Recreation Department, 29 First St., beginning Monday, March 3, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Nonresidents may register beginning Monday, April 1.
Shelter No. 3 at Bisset Park and Riverview Park shelters may be used on a first-come, first-served basis.

Entry deadline set for art, literature journal
DUBLIN - April 11 is the deadline to submit short fiction, poetry, essays, photography or artwork for Miscellaneous Ink, New River Community College's journal of art and literature.
Residents of Pulaski, Montgomery, Floyd and Giles counties and the city of Radford who are at least 18 years old may submit entries.
Students and staff members of New River Community College, Radford University and Virginia Tech may also enter.
No work may be entered that has been previously published.
