The Roanoke Express is hoping it will have another back-up for goaltender Dave Gagnon today.
Express general manager Pierre Paiement said the team is attempting to obtain a work visa for a Quebec-based goalie who could be on the bench for tonight's game against the Dayton Bombers at the Roanoke Civic Center.
``We're expecting a young man from Quebec,'' Paiement said, ``but right now he's stuck at the border. Everything should work out.''
Roanoke is also expected to welcome a player from the Calgary Flames' organization this week. Two Express players - Jeff Cowan and Eric Landry - recently were promoted to the Saint John Flames, Calgary's American Hockey League affiliate.
