The University of Virginia plans to extend its 155-year-old honor system to the school's continuing education centers around the state.
More than 18,000 adult students take credit courses at seven regional centers.
However, off-campus students accused of honor offenses have faced going to the main campus for trials before juries that did not include representatives from the regional centers.
Under a plan approved by a committee of faculty and students, juries of adult students will be available at each regional center.
The plan would not change the expulsion penalty for a conviction of lying, cheating or stealing.
